Minimum Term Commitment
All subscriptions require a 12-month minimum term, whether you:
Prepay for 12 months and receive 50% OFF the first 6 months, or
Choose to pay every 4 weeks — it still is a 12-month commitment.Â
Free Delivery and Setup
Free delivery and setup of all garden bags & frames and the garden wheelie bins.
Bags & frames and garden bins remain the property of Green Collect. If your subscription is cancelled, we will collect them on your final scheduled pickup, which will also be your last charged collection.Â
Pickup Schedule & Reminders
Once you sign up, your account will be set up in our system and added to the appropriate pickup cycle.
You’ll be able to log in anytime to view your pickup dates.
Email reminders will be sent 1 day before each scheduled collection.Â
Important Notice for Dog Owners
If you have a dog on your property, you must either:

Failure to notify us in advance may result in us not being to provide property collection services.Â

While our standard subscription is 4-weekly, we offer weekly or fortnightly collections in select areas in Auckland.

Extra Collections Between Scheduled Pickups
Need an extra pickup?

If extra collections aren’t available in your area, we can provide additional garden bags, and collect them alongside your regular pickup.

Contamination Policy – Green Waste Only
To ensure a smooth collection and responsible disposal, please only place green garden waste in your bin or bag. This includes leaves, grass clippings, hedge trimmings, and small branches.
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Soil or dirt
Rocks, gravel, or stones
Old compost or potting mix
Bamboo, flax, or noxious weeds
Animal droppings, household waste, or food scraps
Branches larger than 100mm thick or longer than 0.75m
If prohibited items are found:
We may be unable to empty your bin or bag.
You may be charged a contamination fee of $100 or more, as passed on from the transfer station.

Delivery will take place within 2–3 working days of placing your order. You don’t need to be home for the delivery — we’ll drop off your garden bag or bin at your property, and an information pack confirming your subscription details will be emailed to you.

Please Note:
We do not offer an 8-weekly garden waste service. If you’re looking for a less frequent option, we recommend choosing the 4-weekly 240L garden bin, which suits most homes and provides great value for regular green waste.
Unfortunately, we only offer a 4-weekly (monthly) subscription service. This is because leaving green waste in the bin for longer than one month can cause it to break down into compost, which is not allowed in the bin.
To cater to different needs, we offer a range of bin sizes. Our smallest option is the 120L bin — ideal for smaller gardens or households that don’t produce much garden waste. All bin sizes are on the same 4-weekly schedule.
To ensure a timely collection, please have your garden bag or garden bin ready and visible by 7:00 AM on your scheduled collection day.
If you’ve signed up for kerbside wheelie bin collection, make sure to place your bin at the kerbside no later than 7:00 AM on your collection day.
When you sign up, you’ll receive an information pack, your invoice/receipt, and details of your first collection date via email.
To help you stay on track, we’ll also send you an email reminder one day before each collection.
You can also check your upcoming collections anytime by logging into your account through our website’s Customer Portal.
If you are a wheelie bin customer on a kerbside collection plan, please ensure your bin is placed on the kerb by 7:00 AM, facing the road on your scheduled collection day.
If the bin is not on the kerb, our driver will attempt to retrieve it from your property, provided there is clear and safe access. In such cases, a $3.00 property service fee will apply and be invoiced separately.
