Collection Frequency & Service Area Map

Our standard service runs on a 4-weekly (every 28 days) subscription.

Before signing up, please check our Service Area Map to confirm that your address is covered by our 4-weekly collection route.

If you are interested in a weekly or fortnightly subscription, please contact us to confirm availability within your area.

Minimum Term Commitment

All subscriptions require a 12-month minimum term.

Pricing (GST Included)

All prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST.

Free Delivery and Setup

• Free delivery and setup of all garden bags & frames and the garden wheelie bins.

•  Bags & frames and garden bins remain the property of Green Collect. If your subscription is cancelled, we will collect them on your final scheduled pickup, which will also be your last charged collection. 

Pickup Schedule & Reminders

• Once you sign up, your account will be set up in our system and added to the appropriate pickup cycle.

• You’ll be able to log in anytime to view your pickup dates.

• Email reminders will be sent 1 day before each scheduled collection. 

Important Notice for Dog Owners

If you have a dog on your property, you must either:

• Select kerb-side subscription as your service option, or

• Contact us before placing your order.

Failure to notify us in advance may result in us not being to provide property collection services. 

Service Options

Available for all subscription products:

• 120L Wheelie Bin

• 240L Garden Bin

• 600L Garden Bag

Key Terms:

• Standard pickup is every 4 weeks

• No postponements allowed during the first 12 months

• After 12 months, you may request up to 2 postponements per year

Recommendations for Your Needs 

• Considering a 240L bin on 8-weekly? We recommend a 120L bin on 4-weekly subscription for more consistent service.

• Thinking about a 600L garden bag on 8-weekly? We recommend a 240L bin on 4-weekly subscription instead.

• Need more than 5 garden bags or bins? Please contact us before placing your order.

Weekly & Fortnightly Subscriptions

While our standard subscription is 4-weekly, we offer weekly or fortnightly collections in select areas in Auckland.

This Service is ideal for:

• Larger properties

• Rest homes

• Gardeners who require more frequent waste removal

We can also arrange multiple garden bags or bins and tailor collection schedules. Just reach out to confirm availability.

Extra Collections Between Scheduled Pickups

Need an extra pickup?

• Log in to your account and request an extra collection via the client portal.

• If extra collections aren’t available in your area, we can provide additional garden bags, and collect them alongside your regular pickup.

Contamination Policy – Green Waste Only

To ensure a smooth collection and responsible disposal, please only place green garden waste in your bin or bag. This includes leaves, grass clippings, hedge trimmings, and small branches.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Soil or dirt

• Rocks, gravel, or stones

• Old compost or potting mix

• Bamboo, flax, or noxious weeds

• Animal droppings, household waste, or food scraps

• Branches larger than 100mm thick or longer than 0.75m

If prohibited items are found:

• We may be unable to empty your bin or bag.

• You may be charged a contamination fee of $100 or more, as passed on from the transfer station.
